Bry sur Marne

Nestled between the Marne river on the west and highway A4 on the east, Bry sur Marne is an unknown, cute little hillside town. It also happens to be where we're moving in a few months. I've been to the train station and the church, but other than that 5 minute walk, I hadn't seen anything else of little Bry.
We'll be making our home with over 15,000 other frenchies. Other perks of the town include: being right across the river from the town I lived in last year Nogent, a few little parks, and right across the highway sits a nice big Ikea! Next to that is a little shopping center with shops and restaurants. I especially liked the bathrooms at the shopping center. If you ignore the overwhelming pink, they had nice little personal mirrors, private changing rooms, and the nice hand dryers. :) The best part of the shopping center though, was the parking area. They had counters at the end of each row that tell you how many are open, and then over each space is a green light that turns red when you park under it! There's a sensor pointing down that can tell when your car is there. It's also clean and open and color-coordinated. I like that parking garage.

  1. I can't wait to visit, even though you're not quite there yet.
