Well we've had a couple of relaxing weekends recently. It was hot enough to set up the little pool in the garden a few weeks ago. We didn't get it too deep, but for us it was fun to sit in it while Julia splashed around.
Today we played out in the yard and went on a walk to the store. Then we decided to make cookies since it was actually cloudy and cool enough to turn on the oven.
Julia was excited to put on her little apron and set up the ingredients. I tried to get a few pictures of her looking so cute, and she sneakily grabbed the vanilla and started looking at it. Two seconds later and it was all down her leg and onto the chair and floor.
So after that cleanup she wasn't as excited about helping out anymore. Not until she saw me licking the beaters. I left a little on for her to try it. :)
Next weekend we're heading out of town to Lyon! A little busier, but hopefully still relaxing.
