We've had Thanksgiving with Paul's family for 4 years here now and managed to do it very well again this year. I made those rolls there! And the following apple pie.
The next week we went down to a fun lighted lantern send-off down by the local nursery. The kids wrote a letter to Santa and attached it to the bottom of the lantern and then off they flew. It was actually kind of pretty seeing them all in the air. We'll see what farmer's field they all land in. :)
Then of course we took down the tree and pulled out the decorations. Madness ensued, but the tree did get lights and baubles on it.
Van was very happy with the finished product. Julia did the drawing in the picture below at our place.
