Happy Valentine's Day from France! While Paul had to work this weekend, Julia and I went to two parties for Valentine's Day, one for kids on Saturday, and an adult tea party on Sunday. We had a really good time at both.
The kids party was with AAWE, the American group I joined, and we had about 10 kids there making cards, decorating cookies, making a paint rainbow, and hearing a book read aloud. Julia's favorite things were: stickers, sprinkles, balloons, coloring, and the chocolates. Most of the kids were around her age, and there was one boy only 15 months, and two older girls around 5-6, and everyone else was 2-4, so it was fun to see other english speaking kids.
On Sunday after church, we went to an afternoon tea at my friend Ellen's house with the young members of AAWE. There were probably 12 ladies there, mostly in their 30s, but also a few older ladies who had just joined the club recently and wanted to meet other new members. We had a lot of cookies and cakes and tea, and then just chatted for a few hours.

Love her outfit.
