We've finally had a spell of good sunshine and warmer weather around here lately. We had planned to have an Easter egg hunt on the Monday after Easter, a national holiday in France where many workers, myself included, got the day off.
It rained all morning, but around midday the sun came out and we scrambled to hide all the chocolates before the rain came back. Each kid got a little colored box and away they went! Once we told them they were looking for colorful chocolates in the garden, they didn't need any more convincing.
The next weekend the sun came out some more and the kids wanted to help water all of grandma's bushes and flowers.
The next Sunday we were back in Le Perreux and enjoyed the sunshine with a walk down to the river. Let's hope the warm weather continues!
Chocolate Easter eggs; chocolate on the Christmas trees; I like the traditions at the Bourdois house.
