Weekend in Nantes

We spent last weekend overnight in Nantes, a city about 3 hours from Paris almost on the coast of France. Paul was invited to preach at a church there, and we stayed with some friend's parents (who go to the church) Saturday night. 

The kids did pretty good on the road trip, sleeping for half of it and I ended up in the back between them by the end to keep them entertained. We brought a lot of teddies, too! And snacks.

While we didn't even go into the city center of Nantes, we were able to enjoy the suburban neighborhood and play outside in their yard and neighborhood playground. They also had some bikes the kids played with, which turned out to be very fun since Julia started riding on her own without training wheels!
