Night on the Town

In an effort to be more social with the other students, I tagged along on a group outing to hang out on Seine at night. It's warm out, lots of parisians do it, and I had yet to really experience Paris by night. So we jumped on the train into the city and got off by the Bastille. We walked down to the water and found a little grassy patch we could call our own. There were lots of others sitting down there, so it felt like a big party.

So apparently where Laura led us was actually toward the end of the Canal St. Martin, not the river Seine, as we were led to believe. After an official guy with a german shepard dog came through making everyone leave around mid-night, we set off to go see the actual Seine. So pretty at night!

So some of the girls stayed in Paris and went dancing, but the rest of us caught the train back out to Nogent and made it safe in our beds. Lots of memories from one night though.
