Every year the Association of Baptist churches has a big picnic out in the country at Hautefeuille. Today dawned bright and sunny and hot, but that didn't stop us from loading up the MG and putting the top down to head off the church. After church we joined a few hundred others to enjoy the sun and company.
Those are not our chairs up there, unfortunately, but we had a nice picnic blanket and ate the french way, with a knife and fork. I found a recipe in a magazine here that I've been wanting to copy: "Tarte Courgette et Chevre," (Zucchini pie with goat's cheese). I think it turned out great and we ate all of it.
After eating we wondered around the grounds and took pictures and caught up with people we had seen at the pastor's conference a few weeks ago.
