Fall is officially here. After a really mild October, the temperature has dropped and the rain has arrived. How do we cope? By making lots of warm soup and throwing parties!
We started with a pre-Halloween party at the Sanders where we dressed up, carved pumpkins, and even had candy corn.

The next weekend we had a combined birthday and housewarming party at our place. Everyone admired the chairs we remodeled and the champagne cake I made for Paul's birthday.
We also had a work Halloween party on the 31st in Paris. Costumes included a pea and a carrot, a smurf, a cookie, a giraffe and other animals with safari people, and we dressed up as a priest and a nun again.
Then the next week we had a masked ping-pong party on my birthday that I share with 3 other guys at work. We went to a ping-pong bar in Paris and played around the world for hours.
November has just begun, but I'm sure there will be more fun soon!
Whose idea were the priest and (pregnant) nun costumes?
ReplyDeletePaul's. Well, really a joint idea we wanted to do last year, but it worked out better this year.
