She's Here! Meet Julia Rose

Already 7 days old, she's taken over everything (as is expected), but we're so happy she's finally made it! I'll back up a bit and let you know a little about the hospital.

We went in about 9pm on Wednesday the 18th and they put me under observation until about 4am, when it was decided I was officially going into labor. After a few more hours, Julia finally made her appearance at 10:25am on the morning of the 19th.

We spent the next two and half days in the hospital recovering in a shared room on the 5th floor. Luckily we had the window side. :) Paul was there every day, and his family came to visit as well.

My sample menus, it was not as good as it sounds :(

Day 3, "I'm ready to get out of here!"

After passing the tests on Sunday, we were released in the afternoon where we came home to celebrate Christmas at our place. Paul's family came over while Paul's sister and her husband were here from England.

On the car ride home, she's more comfortable than she looks...

Since then we've spent most days sleeping and eating. A grand life so far.
