Happy Birthday Julia!

Today we celebrated Julia's birthday inviting family and friends over for a few hours to enjoy food, drinks, and cupcakes! It was a relaxing party until the cousins arrived, and then the party started!

We had Funfetti cupcakes with frosting and champagne cake with cream cheese frosting. Paul made mulled wine: red and white.

The party girl in her tiara, it didn't stay on long, but she liked the fluffy bit.

Julia's presents included a gray penguin sweater, a small farm themed puzzle, a tractor with animals, stacking blocks, and cards with animal textures on them.

This is the rocking chair we found on sale at a yard sale a couple months ago. It's a classic horse from Russia and needed a little fixing up, but is rocking beautifully now. Julia was a bit hesitant to get on it and didn't stay long, but Mona loved it and was rocking away one handed.

We sang happy birthday and then I ended up blowing out the candle. It took a few tried for her to start eating the cupcake, but then she ended up liking it, especially the frosting.

This is the picture card we made to keep for her. I found it online and we adjusted it for Julia.
