A Busy Summer

   I've taken a bit of a hiatus this summer from blogging over the last couple of months due to all the things going on. Last month we bought a house here in Bry-sur-Marne, about 10min from where we were living before. It's a 2 minute walk to the train station to get into Paris, and 10 minutes walking to church.

Most of all though, it's big and full of space with a yard in the back as well. So far it's been perfect for us and we couldn't have asked for anything better. It's in 3 levels, with the main living areas in the upper two floors. The attic space has been redone into two bedrooms and a small bathroom, and the ground floor is made up of the entry, garage, laundry, and a spare room. The main floor has another bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and long living/dining room.

It's in very good condition and won't need many repairs, but we might update a few areas like the living room walls and the kitchen cabinets.

That's all I have for now. We love the skylights upstairs and might put in another one on Julia's side of the room. Next step is repainting the living room as well, and getting a dining table and chairs. Coming together little by little. :)
