And We're Back to School

We've already been back to school for two weeks now, but it feels like just yesterday was summer still. Probably because it's still hot out and the days go by so fast with the kids being back in a routine. 

Said the word "ball" the other day! Here we are at the local park.

Current favorite--raspberries! Of course, I couldn't find strawberries, but either one will do.

Julia is in "grande section" now, which is probably the equivalent of kindergarten. It's for kid's turning 5 this year and they're the oldest class in the school. Next year she'll start elementary school with a lot more structured schooling. 

James also recently switched to a big boy bed, and by that I mean we took off the side of his crib after he started trying to climb out. He loves it! But also doesn't want to sleep in it, so we're still working on this.
